Tackle Tasmania’s mountain bike trails with an experienced local guide on trail. Our Private MTB Guide service is perfect for those who’ve planned their trip but are just looking for an experienced rider to show them around our networks.

Our service is exclusive, whether it’s just you for a day’s solo riding, or a group of up to five. Starting at 8am in your chosen location, you’ll meet your guide and chat about the ride ahead.

Blue Derby, Derby

Derby's ‘hero dirt’ is the tactile terrain bikers dream of, looped around a natural bowl created by the gods of mountain biking. With over 120 kilometres of trail to choose from, let us take care of the worry.

Mt Owen, Queenstown

Mt Owen looms large over Queenstown at 1146m above sea level. With jaw dropping panoramic views of Tasmania's rugged west coast, the mountain's bare ridge lines make for a truely unique mountain biking experience. Let our guide take you on an experience you'll never forget!

Silver City, Zeehan

The Silver Citytrail network is located on the outskirts of historic Zeehan. Journey through rainforest, historic mine fields and button grass plains to the remote and imposing peaks of the Heemskirk Range. There is up to 35km of adventure riding on world class trails, providing an unforgettable and truly unique West Coast experience. This exposed and remote mountainous region is not for the faint hearted!

All our guides are a minimum PMBI/GSMBC Level 1 qualified.

Itinerary

  • Full day guided rides begin at 8am at your chosen destination (details provided prior).

  • Half day rides begin at 8am or 1pm at your chosen destination.

  • Settle in for an immersive experience without the worry with our on trail Guide.

  • Rides conclude at 1pm (half day) or 4pm (full day).
